Chapter1: Manual Exposures
This Full length "Art Techniques" DVD begins with the operation of your digital camera on manual setting. Learn how to use your view finder to take an accurate available light reading, then use the tools of the camera to balance the exposure. This chapter explains how to use both shutter speed and aperture to balance exposures to insure a perfect shot every time.

Chapter 2: Character, Posture & Action
This chapter begins with instruction on how to capture the character of your subject matter. Using wildlife photography we learn how to position ourselves to capture the character or dynamic of the animal, concentrating on the postures and actions that make that specific animal unique.

Chapter 3: Thirds, Lines & Rotation
Dynamic Photography then moves on to the most essential basics of photography, thirds and lines. This chapter covers detailed instruction on how to use the rule of thirds and implement them in your photography. Thirds leads us into the use of directional lines to help lead our viewer and create a constant flow through our photograph. This chapter concludes with instruction on how to rotate and compose both horizontal and vertical photographs.

Chapter 4: Depth & Perspective
The ability to position ourselves to maximize our composition is a must for any photographer. In this chapter we learn how to create depth in our photography by using such techniques as gradation and overlapping. Our depth can be structured through the use of such composition techniques as perspective. How we interpret a photograph can be drastically influenced by both depth and perspective.

Chapter 5: Lighting to Create Mood
The photographers best friend is natural light. In this chapter learn how to use light to your advantage. Through such techniques as backlighting and contrast we learn how to create mood or drama through the simple use of light. Even though a photographer can not control the existing lighting, they can learn to manipulate it to suit their purposes!

Chapter 6: Shutter Speed & F-Stop Effects
Every camera has the ability to manipulate the image to create wonderful effects. Through the use of our shutter speeds and F-stops we can create such effects as motion blur, freeze frame detail, midnight effects and timed exposures. This chapter concentrates on how to adjust your camera to create "special effects" that will turn your photography from blah to dynamic!
